She is Professor at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Economica (CIDE) in Mexico City where she is Director of the Telecommunications Research Program.

ITID Welcomes Associate Editor Bill Tucker

ITID warmly welcomes a new Associate Editor: William D. Tucker. Bill is an associate professor of Computer Science at the University of Western Cape in South Africa and founder and director of the Bridging Application and Network Gaps (BANG) research group that conducts applied research into information and communication technology for development. His research engages with, among other groups, the deaf community in Cape Town using mobile sign-language video, and rural areas in the Eastern Cape through wireless mesh networks that provide telephony and Internet. He brings an interdisciplinary background with him with degrees in sociology, business administration, and computer science. We are delighted to have Bill join the editorial team!
